We eat alot of thai food and LOVE it extra spicy, but sometimes I am paying for it in the a.m. Is there anything I can eat or drink to make it "not burn" on the...umm *TMI*... way out?

Maybe milk or something?

  4. Try some ginger tea it works for me.

  5. I assume you are accompanying your Thai dishes with plain boiled rice which helps to reduce the spiciness. Drinking fruit juices (not milk) during the meal may be helpful; so too are Thai desserts such as poached banana in coconut milk. (Indians commonly eat fresh bananas after their spicy meals)

  6. tums or zantact 75 helps.

  7. Drink hot tea after you eat and don't drink cold beverage when you're eating either.

Young coconut water (water, not milk) is good to help the digestive system.

  8. Awh lol O.O Hey I am Thai Chinese and yup I totally get what you're saying here lol. Yup the Thai food is kind of spicy and hot. One of my guyfriend that's American used to think, Thai people must be really sad cause they cry sometime while they're eating. Yup that's what he thought when he first visited Thailand lol. But later he know that they just like spicy food. I am not really a big fan of spicy food, but I do love Thai food cause they're very healthy. And when I go to a Thai restaurant I would always order them not to be too spicy cause if I didn't, they would normally make it very spicy X.X Haha anyway, to answer your question. I'd say drink anything like milk, ice cream, or juice. Sweet and fat can take the mouth on fire away. And never drink soda after eating spicy foods, it will make it seem spicier. Good luck and enjoy! Have a great day! :]

    (You're most welcome)

  9. I think milk will help your stomach but not really your there. im thai and eat spicy food all my life. i still cry in the morning from it... so good luck :P
