How to help a shy co-worker?
Have a really cool coworker, he lived in New Hampshire, but now resides in Philadelphia. He has no friends or connects here, except his little brother. He is in search of friends and hopefully--a girlfriend. He has a crush on a female @ the job, but he realizes that is a problem because she works here and she also has a boyfriend. He a really nice guy once you get to know him but he is extremely shy. He asked my opinion and I told him it might be good to join a class, workshop, or volunteer somewhere; those are good ways to network and meet people. Is there anything else I could suggest to him?
