  1. i also have an eleven yr old,who also was putting on a little beef until i was able to get him into my nearest gym,he was only aloud to use the treadmill and cycle machines, but it was fun for both of us as well as some quality time together away from his younger brothers. he can listen to music, watch tv.compete against the computer, he loves it so get down to ur local gym and see whats available for the young, try not to make it an issue infront of him,,, just fun.....even invite 1 of his friends...good luck  x

  2. get a wii fit or a dance mat he won't even know he is exercising.

  3. boxing and martial arts, they are the best ways to get fit. If he gets picked on at least he will learn how to defend himself from them. I wouldnt try swimming if hes weight concous.

  4. Frisbee

    Hula Hooping

    Football

    Trampolining

    Dancing

    Walking (forests, fields etc)

    Walking a dog

    Swimming

    Cycling

    Pogo Sticks

    Roller blading

    Ice Skating

    Tag

  5. Sign him up for a sport, karate, or something to get him active

Tell your friend and his mother to keep tabs on his diet and feed him right.

  6. maybe get him into some kind of sport. thats always fun and keeps you in shape. you dont even have to be on a team just play with some friends and eating right and drinking water not soda is good too

  7. Drink every day malt beer; it will work.

  8. well, just things like football training because it doesn't matter if you are good or bad and swimming is fun and is one of the best ways of losing weight and toaning up.    :)

i hope that these have helped!

  9. turn on some music and dance daily...play sports with him...dont let him consume any fastfood, junkfood or sugary drinks

  10. shooting hoops, skateboarding, flag football, soccer, martial arts, throwing frisbee, tossing a football around the yard, heck even walking the dog around the block! The point is, he has to get moving. Maybe he might like one of those indoor games on the WII or DDR or something.

Anything that gets his heart rate up for 30 minutes most days of the week will do wonders. It doesnt have to be something boring or tedious. Get a group of friends together and go play a sport together. He will have fun and  be exercising and it is age appropriate.

  11. Gte him a wii fit
