How to help my mom stop being scared of animals(including my kitten)?

Question

my mom is scared of almost every animal,except for fish because they are in a tank.she's even scared of my turtle.we got a 3 month old kitten about 3 weeks ago.she said it was ok for me to keep it as long as i keep it in my room.The thing is I wanna my mom to stop being scared so the kitten can run around the house instead of being locked in my room

How can I help her overcome her fear of animals?I told her the kitten wont bite or scratch but she dont even wanna be in the same room with it.What can I do

TELL HER TO FACE HER FEARS.. JUST TELL HER TO LET THE LITTLE 1 SNIFF HER HAND  THAN  JUST BRUSH ITS FUR  THAN SLIDE HER HAND DOWN ITS BACK.. HOPEFULLY SHE WONT BE SCARE ANY MORE..  AND GIVEM A TREAT OPEN HER HAND AND LET IT TAKE IT.

I would say that you could get her used to your animal(s) by showing them to your mom slowly, but everyday go a little further for ex. The first day you could just let your look at the kitten, but the next day you could have your mom pet the kitten it would just get sometime getting used to. You could always ask your mom why is she so afraid of animals. Something that had happened when she was young could have triggered it, and you could help your mom through it, and slowly let your mom get used to it. and give your mom the therapy bill.

Why is she afraid of animals? Bad experience when she was growing up? The best time for her to be with him is when he's really sleep and mellow. If she's nervous the feisty playful stage will just make it worse. If he's really sleepy bring him to the same room and put him in your lap. Show her how gentle he is when asleep and maybe she'll get the courage to pet him a little. It takes time but making sure their interactions are always positive will make a big difference.
