  1. cats r sick a lot so dont worry my cat always pukes try her with a tin of tuna she might drink the juice or milk mixed with water just let her sleep and take her vet first thing poor kitty i say wee prayer for you

  2. Try monitoring her every 5 minuets give her plenty of water to drink, its probably just a stomach bug, cats tend to eat stuff they shouldn't eat so her puking it up could be good for her

  3. well if you think she is sick then do not give her any milk try to feed her with a bottle or anything that you can force a little water down her throat it sounds mean but you have to do it

  4. if your really worried then take her to an emergency vet, they're opened all night

    there should be one nearby

and also, if you think she's really sick, your vet should have an emergency number you can call and a vet or nurse will come in, we did that once with my dog and they came in before hours

    good luck!

  5. I don't know if this will work for a cat but i imagine it would. When my doggie was sick and deydrated we had to squirt pedialite in his mouth very 15 minutes. Gaterade works too

  6. Call the vet and ask them what to do, then once you take him to the vet, he'll get better. good luck with your kitty. I am sure he/she will be fine.

P.S. my bff had a kitten with a problem similar to that and her cat was fine after he got a few shots at the vet. he'll get better, don't worry! Plus, i am sure she won't die!

  7. Try giving her water in a syringe every hour so she will have some fluids. U should also call your vets house number (if you know it) and ask what you can do. When my dog was sick, we called our vet at his house and he told us what to do. The best thing I can suggest is to keep giving her water through a syringe. I hope she feels better soon:):)

  8. Canned food with water  Tuna with the juice an water added yogurt

No dry food. Best of luck

  9. There are 24 hours emergency vet's offices around.  If you're that afraid, take her there now- don't wait for morning.

  10. Use something and gently force the cat to drink. Like a large eyedropper or something. Just hold her and put it in her mouth a bit, you'll probably get a bit wet but it should help.

  11. i dont think you need an emergency vet, as the cat just got sick three hours ago, but if you ever need an emergency vet, your regular vet probably has a vet on call after hours.

if you call the vet hospital, you will either get an answering service, or an answering machine wit instructions on who to contact. then they meet you at the hospital, if they cant help over the phone.

costs more then a during hours visit, of course.

as for the cat. let her hide, her instincts tell her to hide. at least she will feel safe and get some rest.

every few hours, put some water on her front paws, she will see it as dirt and wash herself. and swallow the water.

tuna fish in water is good. they love it and it has a lot of tuna flavored water.

  12. stay calm.  give her water!!!  thats the best thing you can do now. And keep her cool!  Let her rest.  It sounds like a bad case of the flu and right water is best.  Good luck. I hope shes fine.  Maybe wake up every few hours to check on her.

  13. the first respondent is correct. use a mix of 50/50 pedialyte and water. use unflavored or apple flavored pedialyte. try to get some down your cat by using an eye dropper or medicine dropper. gently squirt the pedialyte into the side of the cats mouth. Face the cat and squirt in either side of the lip pouch. gently though as you do not want your kit to aspirate. Emergency vet is best but try to get the pedialyte or even plain water into her. Have used the same on all of my rescue cats and foster kittens when they got upper respiratory infections. I also volunteer at a shelter taking care of the cats and that is the first thing we try when kits start getting sick like that.
