How to hire a car in france?

I need to hire a car in france at the end of the month. I am having great difficulties as I don't have a credit card. Can anybody offer some inspiration?

T3 is right. No card, no car. They won't take cash. Can't you get someone else with a card to hire the car for you?

You should call to Car provider and let him know that you don't have credit card. I think, he can give a suggestion. Do you have any relative in there. You can ask them also. Where do you want to go? The car rental fees is very expensive and also Taxi. I would like to suggest you to take Train.
