  1. well you should have someone show you how to play volleyball and all the moves you should use. you need to learn how to set: use your fingertips; push off of the ball when it comes toward you. you want the ball to go high and far into the air. bump:put your hands together, either interlace your fingers or set your left hand on top of the right kindof in an x and then cross your thumbs;left over right again..... any way to hold your hands together. you want to hit the ball with your forearms when you do so it will actually go somewhere. you never want to hit it on your wrists or where your arm bends(it will go flying). you also really need to know how to serve. either over or under hand works. i prefer underhand because it is easier for me, but i'm sure if you wanted to learn overhand it would be easy. to serve underhand: hold the ball in your left hand and make your right hand into a fist. hit the ball with the underside of your hand-well obviously, but i don't know how familiar you are- and aim for the center of the net!

  2. First of all, if you are gonna put spin on it you need to put front spin not back spin because backspin will make the ball float and you will probably end up hitting the back wall (not good).

To be able to hit you need to have a correct approach and it is best to get a coach or someone help you with it and practice the approach without a ball first (it may feel weird at first but it is very helpful). This includes the steps, how you take off, and how your hand is formed and your arm swing.

Your armswing should be that you use both arms to try and get momentum on the way up, and then use your non-hitting hand almost as a target for where you want to hit, and your strong hand should come from behind you head and have a quick snap of the wrist at contact.

The way your hand is placed is also key. You need to hit with a "heavy hand". Which means your fingers should be spread apart to give a bigger hitting area (but not too much or the hand because weak) and make sure that the fingers are tense and curved a bit (you don't want to hit with a flat/floppy hand).

But i don't know why your hand shakes...and sorry if i answered the wrong question or misuderstood your question. but this is how you should "hit/spike", if you were wondering how to "pass/set" the ball i will answer that if you want.

  3. practise your spike, pass, set, serve and dig

  4. well you could just downball it.. so practice putting a backspin on it so it drops quicker.. this hit doesn't involve any jumping what so ever.

or a regular hit.. just make sure to get your approach right, and you should have no problem.

im not sure about why your hand shakes, but i hope i helpe you a bit!
