How to hook up 2 ps2 online

okay im new 2 this and i have a ps2 slim n want 2 play online i am aware that you need an Ethernet cord n i think i have one hooked up from a d link ( wireless router ) 2 my computer do i take this out to hook up to my ps2 or buy another one

VERY EASY TO DO YOU HAVE TO HAVE A ETHERNET CORD AND A SYSTEM DISK AND DSL AND A 8MB AND YOU WILL BE ONLINE WITH IN 30 MINS. GO TO YOUTUBE AND WATCH A VIDEO ON HOW TO GET YOUR PS2 ONLINE.

You can use that one. But you would be better off just buying one.

The simple answer is YES, take the ethernet cable from your computer and plug it into your PS2.  Nothing else needed, other than setting the PS2 up for internet.

Or you can get a wired router for around $30-$40 (router comes with ethernet cable) so you don't have to keep unplugging the computer to hook up the PS2.  

Or if your current wireless router has an extra wired port, then plug the PS2 straight into that (extra ethernet cable needed if you don't have one).
