  1. it would be a o gage crimp er connector you would also need a crimp er to connect it to the wire (good luck)

  2. if the wire is too big then you need to step down the size before you go to the amp with a distribution block http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/G...

  3. I would suggest a distribution block such as one from Stinger.

Products - Browse by Category - Power Distribution

Perhaps something like SDB01448R or SPD8621 (I'm not sure if sure if this one is 0 ga or 4 ga input since it's not specified, but I personally like the Maxi fuse style distribution blocks.)

Pick a distribution block that accepts 0 ga. input and the appropriate 4 or 8 gauge outputs that match the ga.of your amplifer(s).

I would also recommend reading up on power wiring at this web site:  http://www.mobileaudio.com/rac-faq/

    2 - Electrical

2.3 What is the best power wire to use.

Depending on the total amp draw requirements of your amplifier(s), you may decide that you only need 4 ga. or 8 ga. main power wire after reviewing the chart in section 2.3.  However, I respect your decision for 0 gauge if your current application or future upgrades truly demand it.

  5. wow seriously? too many dumb answers here...

try these terminals made by Stinger, they are called "reducers"

    http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/...

they are sold in different sizes, for example:

-if the cable is 1/0g and u need it to be 4g or 8g

-if the cable is 4g but needs to be 8g

these are great for amplifier application when the user prefers to use thicker cable with better current flow.

or when the fuse holder, block, or any other application needs the wire to be smaller due to its restricted diameter input of the power wires.

another cheap way is by just cutting a few of the metals "hairs" so the diameter of the end that will connect into the amp is smaller.

  6. Try a 1 gauge or 2 gauge.
