  1. get yourself a 12 volt regulated power supply off of ebay. im doing what you want to do in my garage right now. just be sure to use car speakers off that deck cause home speakers are 8 ohm and standard car decks push 4 ohms, whcih most regular car spekaers are. my power supply's continuos power output is only 20 amps but i can crank that bad boy up with no issues at all. only thing else you will need is a chep antenna made for the car as it has the special plug on it that fits into the car deck. ive seen them a radio shack on sale for like $16, and with this you get a rubber antenna, about 10 feet of cord and the cord has the proper end on it to fit your car stereo. i just hang my antenna i bought on a hook on the wall and i get all my stations nice and clear. if you have troubles getting reception be creative and move the antenna around and find the sweet spot that gets you the best reception.

  2. All you need is a car battery.

  3. umm best option is to not hook it up at all it doesn't really work car cd players require harnesses and its to hard to connect to a house receiver and you will need a  battery
