How to hook up my RCA and remote wires in my 1992 chevy astro stock radio?

I'm trying to hook my system up in my van and i know how to do every thing but i don't know how and where to put the RCA cables and remote wire in my stock radio.please someone tell me where to splice or put them at.

  1. The easiest way to do that is to splice the RCA cables into the rear speaker harness. As far as the remote wire goes, you can use a male spade connector into the fuse block on a circuit that has power when the key is on, or splice it into the harness at the back of the radio on the yellow wire.


  2. You're going to need a line-out converter. With the converter, attach it to the rear l/r speaker wires. As for the remote wire, you can tie it into a fuse from your fuse box that turns off with the car (ie: radio, window regulator). Remove the fuse and wrap the remote wire around one of the metal leads and shove it back in. This will now allow your amp to turn on/off with your car. If you have any more questions, just ask.
