How to hook up vcr to tv????

I was given an older phillips[magnavox] tv and a vcr, but the tv doesn't have input or the red white and yellow things.....my cousin did it but when we moved i forgot and so did he......so what do i do????Help because i want to watch dvds in my room, i dont want to buy a new tv! HHEEELLLLPPPPP!

  1. All you need is a RF modulator that will take the A/V cables (red, white, yellow) and turn it into a coax here is a link to a RF modulator:

  2. Ok, the red, white and yellow inputs are A/V jacks, and when you have those on both machines, you have a three plug at either end A/V cable that connects them. If your TV only has a cable-in plug, then you need to connect to the VCR's output cable plug, and run a cable ( As in cable TV ) wire to the cable in on the back of the TV. If the TV doesn't even have a cable input plug, then it should have two screws that are immediately next to each other (Which usually were made for an antenna connection), and you can install a small converter plug that will have two U shaped s***w ends at one end, and a cable input plug at the other. Connect the s***w jacks to each other at the back of the TV, then connect the cable wire from the VCR to the converter plug's cable input plug.

    Depending what you have on your set's back, one of those should work for you.
