How to host a Corn Roast?

I'm planning on having a big bon fire and corn roast in my back yard for my birthday. We've never done this before. What are some typical things you serve at a corn roast? Do you serve a big dinner with it as well? Any suggestions?

Foods that go well with a corn roast Bar-b-q Chicken for sandwiches and macaroni salad. Lots of melted butter. Pop or punch. This is something we have done a few times . keep it simple to cut down on work for you. plenty of corn and scewers. Have fun.

all i have ever seen is a big ol hog roast an corn roast   other then that i  guess u trying to have a fair flair to it or something  most corn roast  i know is normally at carnivals so i say ask around and see if anyone has a fryer an make some fries  burgers an hot dogs some real fair type food   also some cotton candy an some Carmel apples
