  1. Regrettably you should have ask before you broke it.  Cole-Hershey made the switches used on that year boat.   there were only 3 or 4 key numbers  My memory is 313, 315, 325, and 888.  But I could be wrong.  What now, buy a new switch.

  2. I only know how to 'jump' the starter....

    turn the battery power on.

    take a somewhat long screwdriver.

find the starter - and find the + and - terminals.

    bridge those with the screwdriver.

if it just turns over and doesn't start - the key switch needs to be turned to "on".

  3. Get a jumper wire and go from purple to red and connect them. Then take another wire or paper clip and touch red to yellow(it should have a red stripe on the yellow wire). Thats your crank wire. once started remove off yellow and there ya go

  4. The easy est fix would be to see if you could get a new ignition switch.

  5. You don't get the correct key switch or you could burn up the electrical on the engine> There only $20+
