How to i get a sack in Madden NFL 07

does anyone know how i get a sack n madden NFL07 for the xbox 360 and how i can see how many ive done.

if your new to the Madden world, I'm sure the defensive plays seem like greek...  

I tend to use my own player to get a sack, but when that doesn't come easy, the best, most effective way to come away with a good amount of sacks is choosing some type of Blitz, or Stunt play...  I tend to like to bring one of my corner backs from the Nickel or Dime formations towards the QB, this also tends to be very effective for catching a Runninback behind the line of scrimmage if he's doing a sweep to that side...  This play will have an arrow from the behind the front defensive linemen on the left or right side...  They also have double Cornerback blitz's you can choose, but be careful doing it often as it leaves recievers open...  Your Cornerbacks tend to have alot of speed, and offensive linemen are usually already tied up with other blocks and they get to take a head shot at thier QB....  

By half time, you should be up against their 2nd string QB...  Good luck...  

If I didn't explain this well enough and just confused you, just choose an inside blitz play in Quarter, Nickel, or 3-4 formation and run stait through the line with a Strong Linebacker..  You can also use your swim button to get passed the line when you get the hang of it...

Use any defensive player (best if a middle line backer), spread out the D l8ne and put the midddle linebacker on the outside of the DE's, and blitz on the side without a TE or RB... then after the the play starts try to get by the bloackers and tackle the QB behind the line of scrimmage (LOS)...and you can check in game by going to "stats" then go to individual and go to defensive and next to the tackle catagory is sacks...and when not in game go to the person on roster and hit select to checks stats

a sack is just using a defender and tackleing the quaterback behind the line of scrimmage.

How to get a sack- take control of one of your defensive ends, and move him to the opposite side of the defensive line, and when the offense snaps the ball, sprint to the quaterback, try to avoid his blockers, and tackle the QB. that is a sack (loss of yardage, loss of down, makes the other player get really angry).

you can check how many sacks you have by going to the main menu screen during the game, and going to Stats Info, going to Game Stats, view the defensive stats, and sort the list by sacks by each player.
