  1. I dunno, picture them playing in their underwear? J/K

I'm going to give you some advice I lifted from a friend, who lifted it from someone else who heard it from Michael Jordan.

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. "

    Michael Jordan

Don't be afraid of failure, come at it head-on. Adapt the whole winning attitude theme and don't give yourself a chance to be put in high pressure situations. Then when things are tough it won't seem so tough.

Other than that I don't know what to say, but I wish you good luck regardless. Give 'em h**l, champ!

  2. Nerves aren't nothing what your feeling before the game is something called adrinaline and that should make you play harder and make you love being the playmaker

also remember the feelings you get before the game because each one could be your Last!!

  3. I have this same problem, just shake it off! shake your arms around, stretch, get loose. Keep your feet warm, sounds wierd but it helps. Nervousness is all mental though just think about having fun, if you think to much about something you will fail, but if you just do it you should play good if you have practiced hard enough. Good luck!

  4. take a deep breath. and don't be afraid of failure. because even if you lose, remind yourself that it's not as bad as when Kobe lost by Game 4 of the 2008 Finals. that was the biggest choke job in NBA history.

  5. It takes practice and discipline, it's something you learn with experience.

Don't fight that feeling of nervousness before a game.  Your system is building up adrenaline in your blood, your mind is racing, you are actually at your best.  That's POWER.  You know you'll feel better once the game starts, once you get to playing, it's just eagerness.  Learn to work with it.

As for pressure when you're behind, it's just a matter of attitude.  If you feel like the game is already lost it is!  The game is over when you give up.  So you should never give up.  You should always play as if that next point will be the game-winner.  It takes some courage when you're 30 points down, but looking back over several years you will see many times when that attitude made a difference.
