We're trying to avoid chemicalss and wiring off the patch... so what else is there?

We've tried (without success):

- Chili

- Vinegar

- Poss-Off spray

Please help! Every night we're losing more and more herbs!

  1. Maybe Jed and Granny Clampet could help....srry couldn't resist

  2. It is unlikely that an o'possum is your true problem.  They don't normally raid gardens.  Ground hogs (sometimes called whistle pigs) are a likely culprit.  Raccoons raid a garden and often squirrels will bite holes in vegetables.

You may have more than one problem.

    EDIT

Thank you ro_c, for the info,  I apologise for being amercentric.  It is odd that a similar problem came up here a few weeks, when a "new to the country"  person thought her problem was a 'possum and it turned out to be a ground hog.   It was very interesting to read about your critters.

  3. best and cheapest way is buy couple boxes of moth balls and scatter them around your plants the smell drives off most rottens i had promlem with squirrels and deer  scattered three boxes of moth balls no more pest
