  1. run cpu-z http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

    or

    http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

on it and post the information here. someone will date the parts for you.

  2. CPU is one single piece! You don't know anything about pcs!So parts aren't old ore new!

  3. You would need to look up the specs for the make and model of the computer to find out what it originally shipped with.  (If it is a Dell, for example, you would go to support.dell.com and enter the service tag number. It will display that information for you - processor, memory, hard drive size, etc.)

You then use a program like Belarc Advisor (free at http://belarc.com ) and it will tell you want the PC currently contains.  Compare them and you should be able to tell if it still has the original parts, or has been upgraded.

  4. It will have marks/writing other then that there is no taking apart that chip youl bust it

  5. You should see the brand and the series and then check in the respective website to get more info

  6. CPU is actually Central Processing Unit and it is commonly called as Processor. The processor is actually mounted on a board called motherboard where all the components are connected. The components include RAM which we called memory, then maybe a graphics card, modem, lan card etc. The hard disks, cd roms are all connected to this motherboard and thus it functions as a single piece.

If you want to check whether its new or old check the model of each part and check in appropriate website.

In smaller classes we learn the computer box as CPU but its not the reality. The box is just called the cabinet.

    Hope u understood

    Thank You
