Question:

How to ignore floaters?

Im 15 and have floaters..the black flying dots are expecially hard to ignore...i dont really see them inside to much but as soon as i get in the car or go outside there there..i try to ignore them but the more i try the more it bothers me...i have like 4 black ones and a bunch of clear ones...how do i forget about them..i seem to constanly bee thinking about them

  1. If they bother you more outside than in...try to determine lighting conditions.  The reason I say this, my floater/lines bother me worse in rain, snow, fog.  I wear pink lensed glasses and they bother me less.  You might also try blue, green, brown, grey, amber, and purple lenses.  Get some cheap sunglasses from the store and see if any help you.  I just stumbled on my pink lenses (Got them cause they were cute) and then realized they helped.

  2. I have the same problem and I'm 18. They suck. Everyone says "Just ignore them" but  you really cant ignore them once you have more then 10 floaters. I'm getting used to them now. But they still annoy me like crazy most of the time. I dont know how long you have had them, but the longer you have them they just kinda become normal, annoying, but a normal part of life. Just something we have to get used too i guess. :[
