How to ignore other people arguing or bickering at each other?

I live with two males. I am 23 years old and the two guys I live with are 25 and 22 years old. One has anger issues and gets depressed a lot and also likes to think he is the head of the household when indeed its entirely the opposite. The other male is less dominating but is also very emotional and overly opinionated. Often during the day the two of them will start arguing over ridiculous topics or they will start bickering at each other over cleaning or how things should be put away or anything along those lines. It seems to be seldom when they actually get along well enough to have a normal conversation. Now I am trying to explore different ways of de-stressing naturally and without medication and taking care of my emotions. When they argue and bicker at one another it always seems to hit me the hardest emotionally and this is taking a toll on me. Are there any ways or suggestions to block them out or anything I can do to occupy my mind enough to have there attitudes towards each other not affect me? Thanks for any and all answers regarding this issue.

  1. Your best defense is to build up your own self esteem/respect so other's behavior just doesn't get to you........you will like/love/accept your self and will be secure and confident enough to just ignore their silly little games.

  2. My experience with roommates is there in nothing you can do unless you want to get into an all out fight with the problem roommates.    Guys living together tend to test each other and do a sorta king of the hill thing.  Unless your willing to get into an all out yelling maybe physical fight you endure it and strive to find a place of your own..   Or get a boyfriend with his own place...

  3. Duct tape will work...JK. Give them a list of things they can do for cleaning and tell them that they are not allowed to complain about how the other person cleans. Tell them also that if they don't have anything nice to say..then be quiet. They are causing you problems by not being adults.
