How to immigrate USA from the UK?

I wonder how hard it would be to move to USA and live there as a permanent resident for a british passport holder?

  1. You need to get a visa before you move. If you have a good degree or masters and  experience in your field you can look for work with an American emoplyer who can then sponsor you for a visa. The US company would have to prove that they can't find anyone legally here who can do the job before they could do this. If you do get a job offer and sponsorship you can then apply for a visa but there is no guarantee you will get one of the limited munber of visas issued each year. All in all it is very hard to move here to work.

  4. put it this way you wouldn't be able to stroll into the america and claim benefits and housing like over here

  5. u can just go over there but u cant come back to england for 5 years untill u are passed as us citz, my sister did this she had to go to the immigration center, its a lot of work, waited 5 years till she could visit us again, but now she is happily married to a hillbilly,lol bless her!
