I will continue to work overseas as I'm in the Oil & Gas Industry and will only remain in Australia for 28days at a time followed by 28days overseas. My kids are aged 1 and 5 and are both boys. My main intension to immigrate to Australia is to eventually apply for Australian Citizenship so we as a family will have the same citizenship. Unfortunately the British system is not helping me out because I'm only British by Decent and cant pass it on to my sons.

I don't have a degree or trade that is in short supply in Australia, I don't intend to work in Australia but perhaps my wife will part time. I've heard that I can apply to get a students Visa for my 5 year old son and get a dependents pass / Visa for my wife to accompany him, what about my 1 year old son, what visa can I get him. Will I need a special Visa or can I use a visitor Visa?
