Question:

How to improve ACT scores! Please?

So i took the ACT for the first time on the 14th

My science section sucked along with english

But i got a 30 on Math and a 23 on reading

overall i got a 24 composite

I know im not bad at reading because i always pass my AP English passages so whats up with this

I need help with that anyone know what i could do to improve reading, and science?!?

  1. get an ACT prep book or something as a guide.


  2. Have you done any practice tests meant for the ACT? They have sections specifically for each subject and they teach you roughly what you need to know. Try that - it should help a lot. Even if you're confident in AP English, the ACT is probably a different style...So practice with some books so you can be 110% confident or get an SAT tutor to help. Good luck!

  3. Why did you take it for the first time. You should have practiced on a few tests and then taken the actual test.

    To improve reading and science, practice from your school books or get help from an intelligent friend or a tutor.
