I've been prepping for the SAT's latley and I've noticed a strong weakness in the sentence completion section. I find that my vocabulary is not as advanced as it needs to be, and i struglle to find the word that belongs in the blank. Is their anything i can do to improve my score on this section?? Like are there ceartin latin roots, prefixes, or suffixes i could study that would give some insight to the word?

  1. Take  a Spanish, French, or Latin class. You will learn much vocab.

Read. A lot. And not easy stuff. I recommend The Economist magazine. Also anything written 1800-1950, as they used vocab then that we don't now but is still on the SAT.

Most importantly go to Freerice.com whenever you are bored.
