How to improve anticipation for a striker? ?

I heard that good strikers have good anticipation and spatial awareness,may i know how to improve that? Are there any drills or exercises that i could do?

  1. try Yoga it is very good

    Im a good striker and I do yoga 2 hours a day  


  2. I don't know much about soccer, but I think my advice will help.

    You have to analyze plays before they happen. So when you have the ball you'll know what to do, and before you have the ball, you'll know where and how to position yourself. Try thinking ahead. Chess players are taught to think 3 moves ahead, while that's impossible for soccer, the principle of thinking ahead and getting into the mind of your team and your opponent's team will help you.

    The thing with anticipation is that if you guess wrong, you're dead. In games, moves that will involve the greatest reward also have the greatest risk. That's what anticipation is in a way.

  3. The only thing I know that can improve that is experience in games. Perhaps there is a drill some where that improves that but it'd likely be really complicated.
