How to improve fps in pc games

Question

I play americas army get about 15 ping no lag

but i was wondering how to improve fps without

graphics card. my FPS is about 25 please help

i would say get more ram and close all programs before playing the game

Go into the video settings of the game and tone it down, start with the screen resolution and the texturing. Then then off anti-aliasing or tone it down and turn off other c**p you dont really need, ground texture, water reflection. Try and keep shadows though cause sometimes it saves your *** if you see someones shadow around a corner :P turning off shadows does improve it a bit. Ground texturing though will work you hard so turn that down too :P.

Get a more high end graphics card and wack the settings to FULL.

Get more ram like 4Gb because most gaming PC have 4GB or ram and you can get fps of over 1500!!!!!!
