How to improve / lighten my bmx??? ?

i am reasonably happy wiv my bmx atm its pretty strong and light but i was wondering wot i could do nxt to imrpove it.

i currently ride an eastern jane 2008 wiv united squad bars and odyssey director forks. The front is really light but i dont no how to make my rear end a little lighter without buying a new frame.

Any ideas ???

  1. Change wheelset, hub, tires, or seat.  Maybe cut the seat post.


  2. The easiest way would be to buy a KHE folding tire.  They have a street and park option:

    They are extremely light compared to a regular tire and could save you almost a pound if you just run one in the rear.  They are by far the cheapest and most effective way to drop weight on your bike right now at only $40 a pop.  You could also look into building up a custom rear wheel with a light rim and hub to drop some more weight if you have the money.
