How to improve my flying?

Hey guys and girls

I am half way through my commercial pilots training and will begin my multi-engine instrument rating next week. Also after the completion of the course I will do my instructor rating. That is my background info but the question I have is

How can I improve my flying? Is their any books or dvds that can help a pilot improve on skills with hints and so forth? I am striving to fly the best I can because I will be looking for work in Australia as a bush pilot after completition of my instructor rating.

Thanks people.

  1. I flew the bush in Idaho and all I can suggest if that's what you want to do is find a tail dragger and fly fly fly fly fly.

  2. Take a basic aerobatics course.  While a bit expensive, it will make a significant change in a short amount of time.  In addition to getting tail wheel time, you will get a much better understanding of ‘reference’ and airplane control under extreme flight conditions.  Especially as a bush pilot, the additional skills you gain will be useful in everyday flying.

  3. Dont fly with fear this is the key for the good flying and one thing till the time you will not test your limits or your machines limits you will never be confident and yes these manuover will help you a lot but the one thing you keep in mind that " there are no old and bold pilots". Good luck
