  1. lose some weight?  cheat?  I don't know

  2. run more! =]

  3. tie weights to legs and run the 10kms over and over (not @ the same time)

  4. do some hill repeats

    protien

    speed workouts

    talk to a coach

read some books (library or book store)

  5. Definitely. There is much room for improvement. Run at least a 3k or a 5k three or four times a week. These shorter runs will help you with pace. Then run no more than four full 10K's. Tempo runs is also important. Run your 3K at a very consistent yet faster than usual pace. Don't start weight training, not enough time, you'll only do damage.
