I have opened up my own store in canada can you give me any suggestions on how to increase our sails since were not getting more customers right now?

Can you tell me about the canadian life style and which products the people prefer to buy?

Sounds as if you put the cart before the horse...but here goes.

What kind of store do you have? A bit more details may help us give you a better answer to find customers. Flyers, paying for advertising and those sorts of things work in certain types of businesses...just because you have a retail store doesn't mean it will work for yours.

I don't know anything about Canadian lifestyle, BUT as a shopper-

Advertise- use flyers, the internet, the newspaper, the phone book, etc- these are all low cost and very effective

Sales- offer some sort of coupons to bring people in, if your merchandise is good and your prices are reasonable then people will buy more than just what they came in for

Actual store environment- make the store look inviting, organized, not cramped, appealing to all ages
