How to improve writing skill? (ESL college student)?

I am going to enter gradute college soon. I made C on my college english classes, but i know myself that my writing skill is too far behind. I don't really have time to take some writing improvement class, and it doesn't actually help. How to improve my writing skill? btw i have no problem on reading part, and i am a good reader.

Read more (more of the classics, not those tabloid magazines on supermarket shelfs).  The more you read, the better usage of the English language you'll master.
