I am not a restaurant owner, just giving you some info I saw on the Gordon Ramsay show:

Create 2-3 really amazing dishes (one should be veg-friendly) and then offer local businesses or foot traffic a large incentive, such as two-can-dine for the price of one, and make it for that week only.  If the food is good and the price/atmosphere are right, those people should come back and also tell their friends.
