  1. does she pump? while she feeds on one side, pump on the other. Also make sure to switch b*****s when feeding. I didnt produce enough milk so I had to start formula feeding, sometimes their isnt enough milk ;( best of luck

  2. I know this sounds bizarre but drink 1 beer. My doc told me and then another gal asked her doc and she  told her too. I don't know why but it is suppose to help. Try non-alcholic beer. Also the more you breastfeed the more you will produce. So try pumping between feedings and in a few days she will be producing even more milk. And make sure her food intake hasn't decreased. She needs more calories than a non breastfeeding mother.

  3. Fenugreek, Fennel, Goat's Rue, Blessed Thistle and Nettle.

She can also check out a site like:  http://birthingherbs.com/breastfeedinghe...

  4. there are a lot of myths and facts, so she can try them, u never know,

    myths:

    drink a cup of beer

    drink anise water

    facts:feed more often

look at babies face while breastfeeding

    try to have less stress

be relaxed and if baby does not feed every 2 hours, then pump milk out while relaxing...

i read all of this so this is all it said :)

  5. Make sure she is taking her fenugreek 3 times a day, 3 capsules at a time.  Also take Blessed Thistle - 3 times a day, 3 capsules at a time.

  6. She should be drinking plenty of water. Aswell, she could try eating a bowl of oatmeal a day and nursing baby more.

  7. lot's of sleep and pump or nurse every hour until it increases! Also drink lot's of fluids and take prenatal vitamins.

  8. She needs to be drinking plenty of fluids, and make sure its not orange juice which is acidic, also I hear from some women drinking a beer or two increases milk flow, although I didn't need to try that, my sister swore by it. But as long as your drinking plenty of water you should produce more

  9. I breastfeed my son and my supply was not what it needed to be so I did some research of my own online. I came across breastea, which is tea that increases your supply of breastmilk. It tastes just like regular tea and is caffeine free, which is great. I also take Vitamin B and my prenantal vitamin. If she supplements with formula that will make her supply decrease. Have her breastfeed as often as the baby wants to, that will also help her supply increase. Best of luck to her!

  10. Drink more fluid, especially water.

  11. she just has to exclusively Breastfeed. if shes also using a bottle tell her to stop. usually when a mother thinks they dont have enough milk is because they notice the baby wanting to eat a lot, and the reason why is because babies go through growth spurts which means they are growing and so is the milk supply, so thats why you dont want to use a bottle because that will make your milk supply decrease, now since the baby is 4 months and she stops the bottle she might notice her baby eating a lot because the baby is trying to increase her supply to what the baby feels is enough for he/she. theres no point in taking fenugreek cause it dont work, all you need is baby sucking on breast and that stimulation is good enough. good luck :) if you have any other questions dont be afraid to email me. and the number one reason why women dont have enough milk is only because they are not exclusively breastfeeding.
