  1. spend less time on here for starters

  2. don't get discouraged man. There's always hope and I'm living proof. i got into UCLA and i had a 3.98 GPA when i graduated high school, got around a 1720 on the SAT's (i dunno if london has those or not but 1720 isn't amazing) and was ranked like 23rd in my graduating class. i was only in 2 clubs and did the 50 hours of community service that was required for me to graduate. That was it. so all this c**p of not having a chance in h**l if you're not #1 in your school is total bull. i have no idea how i got in, maybe it was because i wrote one kick-**** admission essay but it just proves that anything is possible. i would say just have a good admission essay and have every teacher you can get into contact with read it over and have them tell you their opinion. and do some community service, colleges eat that c**p up :-P

(i was admitted under the college of Letters and Science as an applied math major, now im an electrical engineer though)

  3. Just so you know, you wont get accepted unless you the top 1 or 2 students in your school.
