How to increase my confidence??

i`m basically a shy boy.i can't make use of my chances because i`m shy and not at all confident.can you guys help me to increase my confidence.

IM NOT A GUY BUT I THINK U NEED TO START TALKING TO EVERYONE YOU MEET,,THIS WILL HELP U FROM BEING SO SHY,,EVEN LOOK IN THE MIRROR N TALK TO YOUR SELF ,,I HAD A DOC, TELL ME TO DO THIS CAUSE AT ONE TIME WEN I WAS 12 I WAS VERY SHY,,SO U MIGHT WANT TO JUST TRY IT,,,PEACE
