How to increase performance in vice city & san andreas?

My pc's description

Piv 3.00Ghz Ht

384mb ram

128mb vga (onboard) sis vga

Asus motherboard

80GB hard disk

It has all the recommended system requirements to run Gta Vice city and San Andreas.But the performance is very low.Cars go very slowly.But in the game in areas where there is less graphics detail the game runs is faster.

I think the fault is in the vga.(because it is onbaoard)

What could be the problem?

How to overcome it?

Hi!

Try closing any other programs while playing these games. Also, avoid trying to play when the computer could be preoccupied with something else ie. downloading updates or anti-virus scanning. You could also try turning off some or all of the visual features in the game options.
