How to increase the download speed in UTORRENT?

earlier i had speeds like 200 kbps in well seeded movies but now its gone down to 50-70 kbps???? Does decreasing ur upload limit makes it so???i have made the downlaod limit unlimited and upload limit 5kbps!!! but even when i make upload unlimited the download rate doesnot go up!!pls help

Setting the upload limit in uTorrent is a fine line.  The higher you set it, the more download you will get from other peers.  If set too high, or unlimited, download speeds will suffer as needed communications will not be able to get through.

It is suggested to set the upload limit in uTorrent at 80% of your internet connection's upload capacity.

torrent speeds are limited by how much people are willing to upload to you. if you select one of your torrents and click on the peers tab, you can see who is uploading to you.  

if people only want to seed you at like 10kbps, tough luck

and yea, the upload limit can limit your downloads as well.

How long has it been since you cleaned your computer files.  Dumped your tras, dump your spam, (both located in enail location.  In the tools, you can delete temporary files, cookies, browser history.  If that doesn't speed you back up, go further inside.  Be brave, go to your programs list at your start option.  Use add/remove programs.  Everytime we venture out something usually follows us home.  Delete all programs you don;t recognize, and those that you do recognize but don't use.  

After all of this you should be zooming again.  If not contact with utorrent or your ip.  Goood luck.
