  1. If you want to learn to be tough, train with tough fighters.  After getting your butt handed to you for years eventually you will learn to hand other's peoples butts to them.

If you want to learn to punch study boxing and Muy Thai.  And train with the most talented guys you can afford to.  Hit a lot of people and hit even more bags.  Get good at hitting moving targets and build strong core and dynamic muscles in your body.

You can't train will or heart as they say.  Some guys/gals got it and some guys/gals don't.

Try sparring a few rounds and hitting mits with a good coach in your area.  You will know pretty quickly if you enjoy getting punched in the face and kicked.  BTW: it sucks and even undefeated fighters I train with don't enjoy it.  No body does, but some guys turn on the beast in the ring and away they go, they never quit and they give up the will to win even when tested.

You can learn pretty much any technique but aggression and will to fight have to come from within.  This is the mental side of the sport.  You need to ask yourself why do I wish to fight.  What drives you to win.  The champion inside will answer.

Good luck and remember everyday you take one more small step in your journey to become a warrior champion and nobody becomes a champion wihtout great sacfirfice and tons of training.  Are you prepared to pay that price????  This is a good question to ask yourself.

    Best of luck.

  2. As a martial artist, aggressiveness is counterproductive!

  3. take PCP

  4. practice. use a pillow or buy a shield on CenturyMartialArts.Com

  5. Gett some heavy leg wieghts an try tree training.  The wieghts will help with speed.  The tree should make your fist stronger there is no easy way for the speed of the punch thought.

  6. Punching correctly takes practice. You need to drill your body mechanics, shoulder rotation, your fist and arm alignment, your stance, your recoil, etc - if you join an MMA school, surely you will learn how to strike. Theres no need to know how to strike BEFORE joining the gym.

As for aggression, its part genetics part discipline so theres only so much you can do. Some people just arent aggressive, and some are just overly aggressive.

To control your aggression like you control a light with a switch and turn it on and off, takes discipline and superb self control, and also, practice.

Aggression manipulation is all in the mind and I find visualization techniques help subdue, or increase, aggression levels.

  7. you don't need aggression in mma when you have BJJ
