How to increase your stamina?

the cross coutry coach wants me to join the team i only like to sprint i do long distance also but not much i want to run at full speed but maintain it at the same time with out stopping how can i increase my stamina swimming and what ?

  1. Keep running even though you feel like vommitting.

    dont stop

    Your stamina will come after you ou the envelope of endurance. to pure pain to and beyond. cheers

  3. If u like to sprint and want to become as fast at sprinting as you possibly can quit doing cross country .Running loads of cross country will affect your speed.If you want to increase your speed endurance .Run 50m sprints at 100% with short recovery maybe 30 sec and run this 5 rep

  4. Sprinter = muscle build

    Long distance = skinny

    The less cells you have in your body, the less blood your heart has to pump to replenish the oxygen deficit. So you need a small non-muscular build to be a good distance runner.
