  1. If this is in Microsoft word then on the Format bar at the top, next to the bullets buttons there should be 2 buttons for Decrease Indent and Increase Indent. One with an icon of a  little arrow pointing left and 2 uneven bars next to it, and one with a little arrow pointing right and 2 uneven bars. That's them.

  2. If you haven't already tried, use tabs.  If that dosen't work, use the spacebar.  5 spaces equals 1 tab.  Good luck.

  3. If you're using MS Word, go to the top menu bar and click "Format", then "Paragraph". A little menu comes up; the second box down in Indentation.

Click the little arrow box beneath "Special" and choose "First Line Only". The under "By" it will ask for a value; click the little arrows until it says whatever indent you want, usually .5.

Click "Okay" and you're done. It will automatically indent the first line of every paragraph or whever you hit Return.
