How to insert a join box in yahoo groups?

  1. I see that&#039;s a copy of the code from the Promote feature of your Yahoo Group.  You don&#039;t need to enter that anywhere in the Group itself; anyone who visits the Group and isn&#039;t a member will automatically see a Join This Group button on the right-hand side of your Group&#039;s home page.  But if you have your own web site outside of Yahoo Groups, then you can copy that code to any page of your web site, and then visitors to your web site will see the Join button on that page of your web site.


  2. You would paste it in the welcome message.  It&#039;s easier to copy it then paste.

  3. unless you&#039;re going to add that to some one elses group, your group unless it&#039;s closed membership has a Join tab by default.

    if you were to add it, it&#039;d go in the description area of the group.

    to see what your group looks like to non members, sign out of your Yahoo ID and go to the group and take a gander
