How to insert a tampon w/out discomfort???

I just got my period, well, yesterday. I've been using pads since then, but they are wet and sticky, messy to clean up, and feel like a diaper. I really want to use tampons, but whenever I try it is very painful. Once I got one sort of in, but not far enough and when I pulled it out it was verrrry painful. I think tampons will be more convenient, but I don't want to be in serious pain every time I wear one!!!

  1. tampons are definitely better :]  ha i'm 13 and just started using them.  okay try sitting on the toilet with your feet together and knees apart.  and when your pushing the tampon in, try to push it towards your lower back.  and make sure to put it up there pretty far.  good luck, and i hope i helped (:!

  2. i had this problem at first too...

try to find tampons with the correct absorbtion for your flow, you can visit the tampax site for advice on that...

use mini tampons to start off with, and use ones that have an applicator as it'll be a lot easier...

just try to relax, because if you're scared you'll tense up and it'll make it difficult to get it in...take some deeps breaths...

there are a number of ways you can stand or sit when inserting a tampon...sitting on the toilet with your knees apart is the easiest in my oppinion, especially if you find that you feel a little bit faint...

just take your time...when you insert the tampon, push it slightly towards your lower back, not straight up, this may be why it's hurting you...

it's a good idea to use a little bit of lubricant the first few times until you get used to it...i used a bit of vaseline on the tip of the tampon...

once it's in you shouldn't be able to feel it...

just try to relax hun...we've all been there at some stage, you're not alone :)

  3. practice.... i also struggled at the beginning still do

  4. mere pass aa jao me tampon fit kar dunga  frnds

  5. try using a tiny slim-fit one with a plastic (rather than cardboard) dispenser. Wet yourself a little first, I think it's easiest after you pee. And make sure you have the right angle and right hole. it shouldn't hurt a bit, you might just have to get used to it. And they are a ton easier.

  6. they are way better make sure you read the directions

  7. first make sure ur not wearing a super one because those r bigger and, well will hurt more, use light or regular, and relax and put it all the way in, first time it might hurt a lil or feel weird but ull get use to it, also dont pull it out right after u put it in because its dry and will hurt

    hope i helpd goodluck
