How to instal windows live messenger on an offline laptop?

i have my desktop pc conected to the internet, and i have my uncle's laptop, so i have to instal wlm on his computer but i cant conect it to the internet so i download the settup and put it in my usb memory stick and i put my memory on his laptop but when i try to install it from the memmory it tells me error

please help me!!

it's windows LIVE messenger. it need to be connected to the internet to set up the connections.  how can an internet messenger install that's not connected to the very thing it's trying to use????
