How to install DirecTv Pay Per View and how does it work?

Hi, we just moved into a new home and wanted to order pay per view (we've never had it) so the phone guy installed a phone jack behind our tv when we moved in, and i noticed that there is a phone slot in the back of the directv receiver. Is the only thing i have to do is get a standard internet cord and hook one end to the wall and the other to the receiver and it's set up? I know of course you have to call directv to order a movie and make it come onto the screen but is that all you have to do with the setup? Your answers are appreciated, thanks.

Vae if right but if you have never had a phone line connected before you may need to call them and just let them know you have a phone line connected now and they can add on the option to order ppv through the remote. I think they called it ippv for something like that.

Any standard phone cord will work.  No call to DirecTV is needed. In fact they will charge you a service fee for calling to order.  Just press enter on the movie you want and it will confirm that you want to purchase.
