How to install RAR file?

i just download half-life 2 , but i dont know what program to open it with ..need help

Regardles of how and where you got it, to open a .rar file, you need a .rar extractor. Like WinRAR, or if you want something free, try 7-Zip: http://www.7-zip.org/ then you can extract the files with the program and everything is all and well.

Whats with people posting illegal stuff on this website?? We know that you downloaded it illegally and now that you posted the moderaters of Yahoo have you IP address which they can use to pinpoint your location... When will the piraters learn??
