I have a programme that's a .bin file, and I can't work out how to install it.

I have both poweriso and Nero 8 Burning ROM, so do I use on of them to create an image file? If so, then what do I do with that file?!

  1. A BIN file contains the information needed to access printer setup and configuration data.

    check this site

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/...

  2. HI

you didnt mention anything about a cue file? This is required to make the iso file to burn

Have a look at this site. Follow the instructions and at the end you will have your ISO file.

Then you can burn that to CD using Nero

    Hope this helps

  3. I would use Poweriso to create an image file to burn to a cd or dvd then i would install it off of the cd or dvd that you burned it to.

  4. A .BIN file is already an image file. (like an ISO) However the BIN file usually has a small file that goes with it, containing info to help you burn the image back to CD or DVD. Did you get a file with named CUE? If you are missing this, there are Utilities that can convert the BIN to an ISO, or instructions on how to use notepad to do it yourself (without the cue) Hope this helps.

  5. you only mount it in power iso.right click in toolbar on power iso and click mount image and you select the bin file.
