  1. Nicholas is right, the stock bypass valve is all you need on the stock turbo. If you upgrade your turbo to something pushing around 20 psi or so, you'll probably need a BOV...but if you're just looking for the pisst sound, you can get a hybrid valve...that way you won't lose so much boost

  2. don't do it.  keep the stock by pass valve

  3. Everyone is right about the stock unit being best for your car.  It will only run rich between shifts for a split second but that could cause some internal damage slowly over time.  You can also lose boost and increase spool up time and cause a rough idle.  If you safely wand a little more sound, Try removing the intake silencer in the passenger fender.  It's a little tricky to get to but it it a big white thing that looks like a milk. jug.  I would take the $250 bucks and get your self some sprigs or a short shifter and bushings.  There is really no benefit to changing to an aftermarket BOV till you are pushing over 23lbs of boost.

  4. not only you will lose power your mpg will go down too because the engine will run too rich. the only time you will need a bov is when your boost is pushing too much, plus i think the stop bypass valve can handle up to 19psi. if you want the pssshh sound then remove the intake noise delete.

  5. Take it from everyone here, all it can do is cause problems for your car.
