How to install a look clipless padle on my road bike?

  1. Pedals are reverse threaded so you s***w them on backwards. They are labeled L and R.

    Shoes made for look cleats are required (3 holes).


  2. Errr.....only one of the pedals has reverse threads.   The right pedal is normal, the left pedal is backwards.  

    You'll need to take off your old pedals and put the new ones on.  You may need a special thin pedal wrench, or your pedals may have a hex recess on the end of the axle for a 6mm or 8mm allen wrench (hex key).  Be sure to grease the threads on the pedal axles before you install them, and wear a leather glove when you work on the right side so that you don't put the chainring teeth through your skin if you slip....those punctures can be nasty and always seem to get infected easily.
