How to install flash player for linux?

i cant figure out how to do it any help please. i tried this website

but when i get to the installation path of mozilla i cant figure it out

  1. You don't need to do all that. If you run across a flash page in firefox under Ubuntu, it will ask to install the plugin. That should work fine. If not, go to Synaptic and search for the flash plugin (and remember to enable the universe repository).


  2. you need to use your package manager its tons easier  

  3. use your package manager or follow the bouncing ball in yr browser when it hits a flash page (should offer to install it for u)

    If you want to do it the hard way theres instructions on the adobe website, but the package manager or browser option is a lot easier.  

  4. What distro are you using? It should be in your Restricted Repository
