How to install games on Linux 2007?

I recently installed Linux 2007 on my pc but everything is very new to me as I usually use Windows. I have got the sims 2 which I would like to install however it does nothing when I put the game into my pc. It recognises the game, but doesnt install it automatically and the setup files do not work either.

  1. you have to install WINE or Cedega first.
